Medically Monitored Sub-Acute Detoxification
Providing state of the art medical techniques in a comfortable residential setting for those in need of sub-acute detoxification.
Screening
Determination of an individual’s qualifications for admission and treatment, including a review of medical and social history.
Assessment & Evaluation
Initial admission procedures include counselors’ initial assessment interviews to identify individual treatment needs, medical examinations, evaluation of an array of comprehensive screening tools and psychiatric examinations if necessary.
Treatment
Individualized treatment planning combined with group and individual therapy sessions. Clients gain awareness and clarification of behaviors that lead to substance use disorders and learn to develop and manage life skills.
Educational Services
Daily lectures and media presentations are conducted to inform, motivate and build life skills. CPI also offers AIDS/HIV information, confidential testing and counseling; AA/NA meetings; parenting classes; anger management classes; and other specialized programs focusing on women’s issues, eating disorders, emotional problems commonly seen as co-occurring with chemical dependency, employability skills and more.
Activities
A range of social and recreational activities (both indoor and outdoor) are available at CPI on a daily basis.
Support Services
Services include family visitation and involvement programs, pharmacy services, voluntary non-denominational worship services, and translation services for those with limited English proficiency. Transportation to and from treatment can be provided.
Transition Planning & Aftercare Referrals
A continuing care program to support and monitor recovery is important. This includes a referral plan for outpatient treatment or other professional and support services in a client’s home community.
