Sub-Acute Detoxification Services

MEDICAL SERVICES:

  • Medical staff, including Board-certified psychiatrist and specialist in addiction medicine
  • Experienced registered and licensed practical nurses
  • Sub-acute monitoring with 7 day a week round the clock nursing services
  • Detoxification from Methadone, alcohol, and other drugs
  • Physical examinations within 24 hours of admission
  • Treatment planning
  • Psychiatric and psychological services for co-occurring disorders
  • Up-to-date detoxification techniques and medications (Buprenorphine Hydrochloride)
  • Discharge planning with subsequent referrals, if needed, to various residential centers


SUPPORT SERVICES:

  • Media Presentations*
  • Participation in twice daily didactic presentations*
  • Participation in available support activities (AA/NA meetings, Worship Services, Arts and Crafts Class)*
  • Case reviews completed by experienced clinicians

    *Depending on client’s medical condition.

CLINICAL SERVICES:

  • Individual sessions
  • Daily social support groups
  • Transition Planning
 
Referral Sources

Oakland County PACE referrals (Medicaid and Block Grant), Macomb County MCOSA (Medicaid and PA2), Genesee County Community Mental Health, private insurance and self-pay referrals.

 
Treatment Modality

A 4 to 6 day stay with 24 hour structure and support to assist the individual in the detoxification process. The program encourages additional continuation of services utilizing Outpatient and Residential referrals internally or externally as necessary to benefit the client in his or her recovery.
